Hi Bekkie - close enough! - I'm the bridesmaid who is also growing flowers for the venue
Any pretty flowers welcome (as long as they are easy to grow)! I live on the south coast (near Bournemouth) and think that my soil is acidic as our hydrangea was blue (but then turned white)??
I managed to 'steal' some verbena today that was growing out of the pavement - any tips for keeping that healthy throughout the winter also most welcome! All I have done is potted it.
Is it verbena bonariensis -the tall one? As far as i can tell, it likes lots of drainage and a nice sunny spot
Im going to post an updated list soon, why dont you have a look on some of the websites , like crocus.com and make a list of the things that take your fancy? I cant promise you will get all of them but most of us have too much of many things, im sure we will soon have your garden stocked up!
