Hi Lyn, I haven't forgotten the seeds, hopefully if the rain hasn't ruined the flower stems I should be able to try and get the seeds this week. They were just starting to go brown.
Mine are very basic Bekkie, I usually use envelopes from junk mail.
whatever I use it's recycled, I can't stand waste.
the seeds have gone soggy outside, that's a shame, but we must get some more dry days, Summer can't be over already.
i didn't get round to planting up my tubs and baskets till July, due to my mum being ill and needing a lot of attention when she came home from hospital, so they have been a pretty poor show this year. I am going to put this year out of my mind and have started cuttings and seeds for next year.
the campanulas are rooting well, so I hopefully will post out to all who requested, next week.
Gardening on the wild, windy west side of Dartmoor.
Sorry to hear your mum wasnt well Lyn, thats the thing with gardening, theres always another year, its never really to late, just a bit too early. What are your plans for next year? Anything new?
I've just picked some Lychnis (fuchsia pink) and Digitalis Lutea seeds once I've shelled them I'll check what I've got and put up a list. Could be a couple of weeks though.
I've not joined in this thread as I don't have any seeds to swap and so far haven't been successful in harvesting any seeds......but it's a great idea If I get any seeds, I'll let you know
