Having tried late summer/Autumn planted potatoes I won't try it again as they all got blight.

Are there any blight resistant varieties suitable for lates?

i'm hoping to plant some in August, perhaps a week or two earlier, but blight worries me too so I'd only want to go to the effort if I could plant a variety whixh has a fair chance if surviving. Also, where to buy per tuber this time of year?

Most garden shops will sell packets of suitable seed potatoes. Maybe a bit later. People grow them for Christmas. All the catalogues/websites will have them

Thanks Carol. I'm hoping I can spend half as much and only get half as many. Only got a very small garden. Charlotte's have some late blight resistance, so tempted though.
