skeleton salvias
Since this morning my four salvia wils sage plants have been reduced to skeletons. Any idea what's eaten them, and how to treat/salvage the plants?

That sounds like some type of caterpillar or sawfly, squash them
I though caterpillar, but could see nothing at all to pick off.
One of mine went like that, but the others seem untouched.
Did the affected one survive?
No, all the flowers fell off and the stalk broke in my hand. The others are fine
