plant id
I planted several of these last year and now they are flowering i can't remember what they are, not sure if i grew them from seed or if they were plugs.
They are between 5 - 6 ft tall the flowers are pink and fade to white, and they have an amazing perfume. Can anyone advise what they are please.

Looks like Valeriana officinalis
In the sticks near Peterborough
It does indeed look like Valeriana. I have V. phu aurea which is very similar in flower, but begins the year with nice yellow foliage.
Thanks that's it
still can't remember where i got it.
Just read it's good for relaxing and insomnia,
It's a shame it's not good for memory.
