too late?
Hi sorry if this seems like a stupid question. I planted some sunflower seeds last week to see if the seeds were still viable and now I have some seedlings. Is it too late in the season now to plant them out on an outside windowsill? They are inside at the moment and still quite small.
thanks

I should think you'll get some flowers, maybe not seed
In the sticks near Peterborough
They wont flower in little pots inside. They wont survive a winter. What have you got to lose?
As long as they aren't Giant Russian
you should get some flowers...try putting them in a spot which gets most sun
.
despite the recent great weather , remember, it's only June. Tons of time.
Thanks for all the great replies. I planted them out, though that windowsill doesn't get loads of sun. They are only dwarf sunflowers not giants.
Don't let the slugs get them
