any help for a ring barked tree? :-(

Hi. I was wondering is there anything I can do to save a ring barked tree? The landscapers planted it so that the damage is just below soil level (there is a photo but I can't figure out how to attach it!)

To post a pic on here lick on the small green tree icon on the toolbar above where you type your post, and follow the instructions to upload a photo from a pc.  Sadly it doesn't work for phones .... yet image

Are these landscapers that are being paid by someone??????????????

    Ahh, that'll be why then - I'm on a phone, no landline. It's a blue conifer, I think it's a blue cedar

If the landscapers planted a ring barked tree haul them back by the scruffs of their necks and get them to replace it. image

If they won't, tell Trading Standards!

As long as the garden owner is aware of exactly who planted a ring-barked tree!  Don't want you getting the blame!!! image
