OL - if you do happen to look in on this thread again, I would just add that most commercial tomato feeds do already include magnesium (worth a glance at the label) therefore, extra in the form of Epsom Salts shouldn't be necessary.
I'm pretty sure it does have magnesium, I am actually wondering if the dosage I used is correct, it is very confusing on the instructions as different amounts for pots/growbags etc. I am going to buy a cheap plastic jug for the purpose before the next feed!
OL - I still think any problems you have are because of conditions in your GH.
It's been quite hot recently and conditions in our GHs are akin to an oven if certain steps aren't taken.
The glass needs to be shaded, good ventilation and (as I said last night) misting during the day....although it's best that the plants are dry after sunset.
The door has been opened David, as the hedge next to the GH is quite high it provides shade for the toms. The only thing you've said that I haven't done is the misting and I have been watering late in the evening, but not getting it on the leaves.
So far I have only used Tomorite and I think Phillipa may have a point about the compost.......next year I will be investing in better compost (and hopefully using some of my own too) and don't actually think I will use grow-bags at all, I'm going to use buckets for everything.
I have to say, I'm not a fan of growbags either......IMHO not enough compost in them to sustain three tomato plants. Tomato planters are marginally better, but not much.
Well that's another lesson learnt David, 99p buckets from Morrison's for next year To be honest, I'm not overly impressed with the tomato pot things I've bought either We live and learn!!

OL - Looking at your progress overall, I'm sure you must be feeling rather smug about what you have achieved over such a short time. Sure there will be setbacks, some of us that have been at it for yonks it still have them.
Thanks David, I must admit I am really pleased with how much I have learned. I just wish I could start remembering plant names, I seem to be rubbish at that!! My next mission is to grow perennials from seed

Next season you will be quite the expert.
