Pear?
Hi all,
Now this is going to sound incredibly thick, but I have never had a fruit tree before and plucked this from a young tree in a very overgrown garden of a house I am about to buy. All signs in my head point to it being a young pear, hopefully of the edible variety. Am I right?
Apologies for the complete lack of knowledge on my part, I am a total novice.
Many thanks in advance,
James

Yes that is a pear, you must have seen them in the shops!
Definitely looking pear like to me!
Thank you for your constructive reply. I realise it is pear shaped and yes, i've been to a fruit shop and even eaten pears. I was basically checking it wasn't something else that a novice like myself might not know about. Thanks for your help.
yes a pear, but no where near ripe! lol
Cool thanks all.
If it looks like a pear, feels like a pear and tastes like a pear.....
(but it's certainly not ready to eat yet!)

All pears are of the edible variety!
Looks pretty healthy too - lucky you. Good luck with the move.
