cayenne pepper strange fruit

My cayenne pepper plants have begun to form small, black, round fruits that are almost bery like inside. They don't look much like chillies! Can anybody help?thanks in advance! Sam.

Some chillies are round rather than pointed, could you post a photo?
my Hungarian black has small roundish black berries-like fruits,
are you sure its a cayenne? or even a chilli?
