I've checked my border plants thread but it's not on there, so I think it something I've grown that I thought hadn't worked so 'chucked' it on the garden with some compost!!! There is a French bean plant near it too that I have done that with, it was tiny and had died and suddenly there it is! This must have grown quite a lot in the last week or so because I don't recall seeing it when I was weeding, or the French bean

There are some seeds on offer, 20 for £1.99 so nothing to lose really. I wonder if they would overwinter indoors?
Nutcutlet, the plant doesn't smell of anything at all, not even that outdoor plant type smell that they sometimes have (do you know what I mean??)

Any ideas anyone? The three lots of seeds sown that I binned were Rudbeckia, Verbena and Delphinium and it's none of them so I'm completely puzzled!!
I know exactly what you're thinking Nut - I'm thinking the same
OL, pick a small sprig and rub it hard between your fingers and then smell it .........
Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
Just done that Dove and Nut and no smell really, nothing distinctive anyway, just a mushed up leaf smell
I've looked at Veronica and the leaves do look similar but I don't remember planting/sowing it....in fact I don't remember planting anything there!!!
I think it must have Chrissie
I hope it is Veronica, it's very pretty. It looks like it will be flowering soon so we'll soon know
