Mystery Plant
This is a plant I've had for a while now in my front 'garden'.It was bought from a village fete but didn't have a name.It has these flower stalks that when in full flower are a lime green/yellowish and very small. I've taken some seeds which are also tiny like Foxglove seeds and sprinkled them in the back garden.Any ideas?

Tellima grandiflora, nice scent?
In the sticks near Peterborough
Hi Fishy - don't take my word for it as there are many similar leaves but I would suggest heuchera or maybe tiarella. Both nice plants in my book.
Great nut - don't know how you do it but please tell me the difference if you have time
Goodness Lesley. I don't know.
The leaves, the 'nothing muchness' of the flowers remains and Fishy saying they were green and very small. Heucheras and tierellas have slightly more flower power than tellimas.
But give me a tellima any day, they're not miffy and never die on you

Thanks nut - I'll look it up. Great news Fishy - indestructable
Lol thank you both
She's amazing isn't she Lesley, our very own 'plant google'.
You guys saying this plant is tough makes a lot of sense. My front garden is north-east facing and gets a few minutes of sunshine in the morning at best.Plus the main plant has been walked all over by scaffolders for the last month which is why I took a pic of this little self-setter.And still it grows,I'll see if I can get some more seeds and establish it in the back garden.
Not sure about the scent nut cos I have perennial rhinitis and subtle scents are lost on me.
Hi could anyone tell me when I need to plant crocuses in my lawn thanks
Anytime from September to November.
