Mini Greenhouse Plants

I've been growing plants in my mini greenhouse from seed and they've taken ages to get going.  They're still really small and I think they should have been planted out by now ie lupins, achillia etc.  I'm loathe to get rid of them as I've nurtured them but I can't plant them out as they'll get snailed and they're a bit weedy! Any suggestions please!!!

Don't throw them out, perennials are not as quick as annuals and I'm sure you'll get some flowers next year. I'd have them out in the open air now, not in blazing sun, find them half shade if you can. I have my baby perennials lined up my the house where they get morning sun but afternoon shade. Make sure they're not pot bound, pot them on if they are and feed them because the compost food only lasts a few weeks.

Thank you that's really helpful.  I've had them out during the day but they're a bit slow off the mark.  No I can't bear to give up on them as I've put too much care into them. I'll expect a dazzling show next year! x

Dont give up on them, I have loads of tiny perenials all coming up for next year, they are sitting on the shelves of the plastic grenhouse, but I will give them some protection in the winter and plant out next Spring.

Likewise. I lost a lot of March and the whole of April to more pressing commitments & have been playing 'catch up ' with the garden ever since. The garden itself now looks ok but my veggie & perennial seedlings are pathetic (the local vole & mice population don't help either!). Just hoping lots of water, a bit of TLC & a bit of cheating via garden centre plugs might allow me to salvage something this year.

In short Knathan - you're not alone - far from it!!!image

Rats and squirrels are our problem at the moment.
