Galium verum - Planting in troughs

Can I plant things like this in troughs/pots? Makinjg a green area on a conrete area so have to use this method

    Most things will grow in containers if you provide enough water and nutients. I have some Galium verumin a pot waiting for planting out, it's filling the pot very quickly and has already been potted on once. Not surprising, it spreads quickly in the groundimage

    What else were you thinking of growing?

    Hi,

     

    Thanks for the reply. Things like....Sweet Violet, Betony Plants, Lady Bedstraw, Lily of the Valley, St Johns Wart, Bugle etc

     We have 50cm pots (pretty big), 40cm pots and 60cm troughs

    I should think all those would be OK if you have them in the right places for shade requirements and give them what they need in food and water.
