golden hop

i have a golden hop. love it creates great screen and lovely colour. i have just been told its poisonous to dogs. does anyone know if this us true and what part if the plant actually is. i have a dog so am a little concerned. please help. thanks

    thankyou for your responses very much appreciated. had never heard of this before today myself. will still check out the pet poison helpline. my dog spends a lot of time in the garden and the allotment. once again thankyou.

    I thinks this is hops, possibly dried hops. Not the stems and leaves. They'll be way up the top.
