Looks great I'm sure the pesky carrot flys wont stand a chance ! I've planted alternate rows of carrots with onions, my first time trying the trick em with the onion smell method. Has this worked for anyone else ? Or is it probably not going to work ?
Lily, good idea, I have just divided some chives too that are going into this bed. Companion planting but better than them staying in the pots I have divided them into.
Oh no ! Not pesky rabbits ! Possibly try the method that lady did that's been all over the news. The rabbits ate her parsley so she are the rabbit. She must really love parsley ! So far we don't seem to have that problem. It's my first year gardening here. We do see a lot of hares ( not in the garden ) but no rabbits. - L Bennett - yep I think chives would work just as well, you can't have too many lines of defence against the carrot root fly !

Thanks Rebecca
Hope it works well!
That looks brilliant. I think I'll try it. It'll keep the rabbit off them too!
Cheers Steve, I also did this to stop bloody cats crapping
Looks good!!
I thought they crept into the crypt....

I've put a row of onions amongst the carrots. Didn't stop the rabbit eating the lot though. Feverfew too.
