Hebe problem

in Problem solving

my pink elephant hebe is starting to develop brown stems, it is in a container and is kept well watered. It is in a part shade position. Any ideas what the problem might be ?

    Not sure if its too much shade at the base, im sure you will get more advice, thice seems to happen to alot of hebes image
