Thank you Rebecca image  No definitely not, water them daily for now, soon as I see new growth I guess I can plant on?

Also did my Rosemary and also one of my Fuchsias. Fingers crossed.

Can't wait image my first time dividing anything so hope it goes well.

Did my Mint last week (pots!) and they all seem to have taken well with new growth so well chuffed.

All for free too which I like image

Free is my favourite price. I hope they do well! I hadn't thought of dividing my chive to use as companion plants - I'll have to remember this for next year when I'm ready.

The Gardeners To Do List suggests taking lavender cuttings this week which I'm trying to muster the bravery to do.

I do love free haha and a bargain. Always looking for cheap plants to revive too. Biggest success was one of my honeysuckle from Homebase, bought for 50p 4 years ago looking 90% dead and now it is huuuuge and thriving.

Chives were easy, I was pretty brutal pulling apart etc but gave them a good water. Will do this again next year too. Thinking do drive off carrot fly mainly. But I think this will help with slugs too. Well I hope...

Good luck with your lavender, be brave!

  • I think I'll try this, what a good idea, I have a big bunch off it in the garden.

They're very straightforward and it gives them a new lease of life. Bees love the flowers too.

It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...

    Chuffed as my first time.
