I'd get them in right away and keep in a warm place. Last years seedlings have developed into sturdy little plants now....so I guess we now start the many years wait until they flower! Good luck Duchess..
I find that my Agapanthus self seed near to the original plants. I have some growing in gravel near the pond and others in the garden and in pots. Not sure what variety, but very hardy and reliable.
Many thanks for this article, your advice was just what I needed in regard to this plant, as usually there is so very little written about the agapanthus. I shall be growing from seeds which I shall collect, just as you suggest.

My seeds have germinated through the winter in the cool greenhouse (above 2degrees)
they are now green lengths about 10cm long
how should I pot them on?
