Yellow Flowers and Little Black Bettle Things
Hi,
Yellow seems to be a favourite colour for some tiny (about 2mm in length) beetle looking things. The are on bracyglottis, day lily and even the yellow middle of my white leucanthemum (apologies for any mis-spellings). They don't look like they are doing any damage, yet anyway, but there are loads of them.
Any ideas what they are and will they become a problem?

Are they tiny black beetles? If so, almost certainly Pollen Beetle and all the British species are harmless:

I had a pair of yellow trousers long ago. I couldn't go out in them in the pollen beetle season or I'd be covered in beetles
In the sticks near Peterborough
Thanks Bob, that's them.
