Double Arum Flower

My mother has several arum lillies growing very successfully, however one flower has appeared with two 'heads'. Has anyone else encountered this?

I've googled and there are a few images online - haven't found any attempts at explanation.

Ah - it would seem to be an instance of fasciation

There was a thread a few weeks ago about daffs doing this. Happens in daisies too.
