Pansies
My pansies are growing beautifully, but after the first flush of blooms, they seem to be getting smaller. The varieties are Ballerina and Chalon. Id love to get back to the large blooms befors the local show.
Any ideas?

I think that's what they do.

Are you feeding them regularly?

Do you dead head as soon as they start to fade. I have never fed pansies but then i am not much of a one to keep putting stuff on the ground, except compost. Homemade that is.
Are they watered enough, it has been dry.
Apparently the blooms get smaller as the days get longer and warmer. Other advice ive had is to feed with tomato feed potash to increase.
Thanks all for your input.
