Foxgloves

image

We live in Cornwall.  There are millions of foxgloves around at this time of year.  However, my next door neighbour has a Foxglove plant with a single stem, and multi branches.  I/we have never seen anything like this.  Has anyone else ?

Lovely, there are so many wierd things going on with plants this year, maybe the warmer winter or all the rain, I dont know, but things in my garden are growing ridiculously fast and tall, the lupins are about 6 to 7 ft canpanulas are 5ft, everything is bigger than ever. all gone mad!!.

Gardening on the wild, windy west side of Dartmoor.

If something nibbles the tip while it is growing it's the same as you pinching out your plants to encourage side shoots
