Something killing this shrub?
Hi,
We have the below plant in our garden - firstly I'm afraid I don't what it's called I know it's a fairly common shrub but secondly I have noticed that a part of it seemed to have died (photos below). We haven't sprayed anything by it to cause it to die. I don't think it's a lack water with the amount of rain we have had and it's very well established.
Could it be a pest/fungus? Any suggestions will be greatly received as I don't really want to cut the section out (unless it's well and truly dead and I have to) as it will leave it looking a very odd shape.
Thanking you in advance.

It's a choisya. I would cut out the dead bit. Mine does this from time to time and the gap soon fills. Sometimes it's obvious that a branch has been wind damaged or similar but sometimes it just happens for no apparent reason

Thank you - I'll cut it out and hopefully no more sections will die.
