GROWING APPLES
in Fruit & veg
You can grow an apple plant from seeds but you may have to wait for a very, very long time to pick an apple- if at all.
Look on it as a bit of fun -the kids get a kick out of it- but as for growing a proper fruiting apple tree from a pip -no- not really

Apple pips don't come true to type, so it's pure luck what apples you'll get - most likely crabs.
I am doing this, after 12 months mine as 12cm tall.
I was advised to grow 2 different varieties to cross pollinate. I just like to grow things from seed. Just thought I would give it a try.
