Can anyone tell me what these 2 plants are please. The tall one seems to me a bit Forsythia like and will need moving f this is the case.
The smaller, more delicate looking one appeared last year and I am sure I thought it a weed and dug it up. I think it flowers but not sure. Thanks

The tall one looks like a cytisus (broom)
The second one is Leycesteria formosa
In the sticks near Peterborough
The second one as nut says is leycesteria formosa.....flowering nutmeg. It might need moving to give it room to grow (can't see in the pic properly) its lovely with very pretty flowers.
