    I have it as a hedge dividing the 'garden' and the vegatable garden. It looks lovely covered in flowers. I cut it back after the frosts early spring.

    Snoodle, I think you were right to leave off the perforatumimage

    That's one of the shrubby ones in the pic H patulum maybe. Perforatum is of a lighter stature, a herbaceous perennial

    Nutcutlet, you're right......mine could be hidcote not petforatum  image...oops silly me, its absolutley covered in buds at the mo.

    Hidcote, yes, that's a patulum I think. I've manage to kill 2 of those over the years and I thought they were supposed to be easy goingimage
