Tomatoes and fungus
Hello,
I've two tomato plants in my greenhouse. I've planted them as I have done for quite a while, using the contents half a grow bag each in large pots.
This year there are small toadstools growing in the pots as well as the tomatoes. The tomatoes plants are in good condition.
I wondered if anyone else has experienced this and does it pose a threat to the plants?
Also, when they bare fruit, is there any any risk of them being contaminated in any way? As I have a compromised immune system, I don't want to eat anything which might be detrimental to my health.
Best regards,
Mike.

I would think they are growing on composted bark/recycled stuff in the growbag compost. Just pull them off and discard them. They won't harm the tomatoes.
