Hang on Verdun. I'm not sure this is oneimage

I had a look, the only pics I could find were rather a poor one of A. speciosum but a good one of its seed head.

That's not done too well last year and this. Definitely shrinking.

A tortuosum is awake I'll see if I can get a photo of that.

Google Aroids and go to Images, there are a lot of them out there.

NC. I was about to suggest S. venosum, but I had to go and do some gardening. Gets in the way of everything!

Quite right too Berghill. I'll be back to it in  a minute

I'm thinking this might be it and wondering about origin of seeds. One of the plant societies I belong to, (no names mentionedimage), has a reputation for seed being inaccurately labelled. Not the society's fault. Just ignorance or carelessness of members supplying seed.

Maybe this is one of the 'arisaemas' from a long ago order

Ben Candlin is the national seller of these, have a look on his website for ideas.

Mine did not smell and they change over the year, putting out leaf (a curious thing) then flower then another leaf (which dies back before Oct), then lots of bulblets and seed.

I may have missed the first leaf before I cleared the weeds. There's a something coming up at the base.

    I haven't picked up a smell either.

Unlike the Dracunculus vulgaris which is just opening
