Ideal.  Too much wind can shred the leaves, so I wouldn't put in a windy spot.

Hi everyone, I live in Leeds & am thinking about getting a pink angels trumpet, potting it in a 60cm pot then sinking it in the ground at the side of the garage for protection from the wind. When would be the best time to cut back also when to lift and winter over in shed as don't know much about these, thanks.

There are rooted cuttings available in Spring, from garden centres. Also lidl had some this year. Grown on in the big pots ,15inch at least, feed and water. Cuttings will root in water over winter. The plant can be cut down and overwintered frost free, October . I will see if I can get some photos of mine as they are now.

Thanks for the info, will definitely have to look out for these in spring.

This was a rooted cutting I bought in February. I potted it into a 6 inch pot, then into this pot. It was kept in the frost free greenhouse, and then unheated polytunnel until late June.
