Thanks FG and Runnybeak, I have been looking at Josephine too, I have been wondering about that for a while, not deep purple I know but my mum's middle name is Josphine.  I might have to get 2, Purple and pink would look lovely together image

Thanks Hosta, a little pale for what I want but still pretty.  I've had a look at a couple of websites and The President seems to be the one, I found another - Gipsy Queen but it's group 3 and I want a group 2 (I think?) as Josephine is a group 2...have I got that right?

OL - there's a lovely one called Julka which is a Group 2. Take a look on Taylor's site. It's a very rich violet purple with rosier coloured bars and pale stamens. Very nice. It would give a real contrast to a lighter pink or purple.

    Quite fancy it myself! image

The one I've got is in a pot, no room in the borders at the moment but planning a rearrangement image
