Eucalyptus Tree

A 3 to 4 year old eucalyptus has flourished well until this year when new growth has been spindly with only a few, deformed leaves. I can't find anything on google about this. Anyone know what it is and what treatment will help?

Tried to add a photo but having a problem with that.
New growth from pollarded trees often has the round leaves. As that branch extends leaves start to grow long instead. My eucalyptus periniana had round leaves on this years new branches, but older branches have thin spindly leaves. Also when it flowers they look different.
Have you got a photo?
To post a pic on here you need to click on the green tree icon on the toolbar above where you type your post and follow the instructions - sadly it doesn't work for phones - yet.
Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
A few deformed leaves only, and on spindly, new growth. It is in a larger patio pot with new general purpose compost for this year. Not planted out yet until we move house. Photo now uploaded OK
If its in a pot,its probably short of nutrients. Give it a feed and some water.
The only other possibility is drift from weedkiller spray can produce deformities.
In which case, cut all spindly growth back, feed and water.
Perhaps overwatered with heavy rain has depleted nutrient? i'll get a feed tomorrow and see if it improves. Thanks all for your help.
Well I think I can report that my tree is recovering. Many thanks for all your help. I will post a photo when it is really back to a full health.
