climbers
Hi,
My garden is North facing and narrow so I have one side fence that gets sun in the morning and shade in the afternoon and the other side shade in the morning and sun all afternoon.
I want to grow some climbers up them but would different plants be better for each side? or would it not make much difference?
thank you!

The west side is for those climbers requiring shelter from the cold north and east (trachelospermum, hardenbergia, solanum crispum, passiflora etc) and the colder side is for other stuff. Some climbers won't mind in the slightest - clematis of all sorts will grow both sides (c.alpina cultivars particularly for the morning sun). HC
