Has anyone else had issues with their perennial poppies this year?Mine are normally great for a few months but this year they have been looking very sad,yellowing and plants almost looked stunted,a couple of friends have had the same issue,I wondered what the cause is this year??

The rain has ruined a lot of the flower buds, on mine. They have turned black and Mushy and not opened properly.
All my poppies died late spring 2014. These were well established clumps, I've various parts of the garden. I have not figured out the problem
