There is just so much growth all round this year. I'm pruning shrubs to stop them breaking in the downpours.

All the shrubs in my garden. In fact my whole garden has just exploded this year. I have been pruning shrubs (some with a saw!) for the past 3 weeks and digging out a host of self seeded aquilegias.

Our Poppies are both under and over achievers, they came up strong and healthy opened one day and were ruined by the torrential rain the next day, not a plant i would have in my Scottish garden but it's not my garden it's OUR garden....image
