springwatch

Hi folks, someone here always knows the answer to everythingimage

We have rather a fine video of the great crested newt egg-laying. It's been suggested we send it to Spring watch and the best way to do that is to upload to a sharing vids site.

Is this the way to go and if so which is the best site?

Thanks, we're a bit behind with the modern tech here

Pop it on Youtube or you can upload it to FB just make sure its settings is public so everyone can see it.

BBC News used a video I took of the Severn Bore during the floods at the beginning the year and they accessed it from Facebook, with my permission of course. image

Upload it to youtube. Its pretty easy, and you can then give the address for it to other people . I've had over 30,000 hits on my whale shark feeding video.

Sorry Caral - it's only simple if you have done it before.  Step by step would  be good.  I even made a mistake sending my Dad an e-mail last nightimage

Hi nut, Springwatch has an upload page which should make it easy.

Lesley, it really is simple on FB. Log on and click on your name. And you will see this at the top of the page.
