Ornamental Cherry Blossom
Hi, hope someone can help?
I bought an ornamental cherry blossom last autumn, I repotted it into a bigger container this spring after flowering. I've noticed though that since the leaves have started to turn brown - it does not look at all as healthy as it did. I put plenty of holes at the bottom of the container, and stones to aid drainage, it has had enough water. I used multi-purpose compost left over from last year, a peat-based one.
Any ideas / suggestions as to the problem / what I can do to repair it? I love these trees and really don't want to lose it.
Thanks, Linda

It would probably prefer a soil-based compost, if you can't plant it in the ground. Check to make sure it's not waterlogged, give it some liquid feed and cross your fingers!
Thank you. I didn't plant in the ground because it is very cloggy, clay soil and does get quite boggy. I shall try a soil-based compost instead
ok Buddyboy, thank you
