Treatment advice for mould/mildew on scabious
Hi, I have a cherished pale lilac coloured scabious plant that has been affected by mould/ mildew on the leaves. It is flowering nicely but the whole plant is becoming weakened by the mould. Of course the damp weather followed by the warmth has probably sparked it off but how to treat? I have dug it up from my font border as it is in full sun, and replanted it in a part sun, part shade border with plants of room around it for air to circulate. I have watered it in well and it is looking ok, just still the mould problem. It is on all the leaves of virtually the whole plant. Advice please would be most welcome on what anyone would recommend I can spray on it to help tackle it and anything else to prevent it happening again. Many thanks.

LPetal, it seems you've done all the right things without spaying, but really, using a spray such as Myclobutanil is your best option.
Oh ok, I am not familiar with that name, is there a commercial brand name I should look for or just look that it has that as it's ingredient?
Thanks Verdun I did think at the back of my mind I could do that as an option. I did think that it was drying out where it was. Too hot, whereas it's new position goes over to shade for part if the day so maybe it will have a bit of relief there! I love it as a cut flower.
Something like this, LPetal......although there are others.
