Virginia Creeper Pot

in Plants
Hi guy's,
Looking to grow Virginia Creeper up the front wall of the house, i don't want the whole wall covered, just a few feet either side of the door, problem is there is no way it can go into the ground due to a path, is there any way i can grow this in a large pot? and if so what size pot are we talking about? also would pruning, cutting and shaping this plant to keep it in bounds be relatively straightforward?
Thanks in advance
