Poorly honeysuckle
Hello, I've planted a honeysuckle for the first time a couple of months ago, it's really taken off but now some of the leaves are slightly droopy looking and the lower hidden leaves are turning yellow and some have large brown spots on them and they're shrivelling up. The leaves are hidden underneath the rest of the plant so I've only just noticed. Any ideas on what could be causing this? Here is a link to a picture of the leaves. http://m.flickr.com/#/photos/katewheeler/14132915597/

It's got the beginnings of downy mildew - it probably got too dry at the roots at some stage, possibly when it was still in the pot.
Just make sure that the soil at its roots are moist and shaded - not soggy, but cool and as if it were in a damp woodland. It will outgrow the mildew. Probably more leaves will go grey/yellow and fall for a while, but it will survive
