Monty

What has happened to Monty's leg? We saw his stick at Chelsea and now they say he is on light duties in the garden , but what has he done? We think he may have tripped over Nigel!!!!

He said early on in the Chelsea coverage that he'd injured his leg. On Friday he said that he hoped to be more mobile next week.

  • Not really any of our business unless he wants to tell us. If he has tripped over Nigel I hope Nigel's okay! Probably did something silly and embarrassing and doesn't want to say so as the health and safety brigade will have a go at him.

I'm with Scott, not sure it's any of our business regardless. Lets just hope it's all sorted quickly for him.

If he did trip over Nigel I feel for him, I spend most of my days falling over one of my cats who's main aim in life is to kill me i'm sure.

That's a pretty hefty brace he has on it.  Interesting that he seems to be trying to hide it apart from the opening shot.  It would tend to suggest ligament damage as he wouldn't require one after something like keyhole surgery.

Been there and done that 20 years ago - I don't mind saying now that I did it tripping over an art student on the sofa - very proud of the fact that I didn't spill my glass of wineimage - but it was pretty embarrassing at the time image and as many of you know I still have problems with that knee image

I think that with Monty's experiences of Twitter etc, he probably feels he wants to keep his private life private, and that's fine by me.  I certainly wouldn't want my medical details broadcast for comment by all and sundry. image

Having once been an art student I can confirm we spend a lot of time on the sofa. Easily done.
