If you're referring to the dahlia MD was potting up after removing the tulips he said he'd had it for years so it's hardly likely to be an editorial mistake. It's entirely possible that MD bought it as 'Arabian Nights' and believed it to be so. Even experts can't be expected to have perfect knowledge on every variant of a plant.
