    Is Wood Avens really that bad then? Because I have it in my garden too,in fact I've noticed in the last few years as shrubs and trees have matured that I'm getting shade/woodland species making their homes here.The Violets are another image

    Well i don't know what PITA isimage

    Fishy, wood avens isn't invasive lke ground elder or JKW or horsetail but the seeds cling to clothes and animals so spread around and I think everyone of them germinates

    Hope you had a lovely visit - what a wonderful day for it image  however, I've made very good use of my time in the garden this afternoon.

    It was a lovely garden visit and the damsel flies were excellent so was the walnut cake.
