White Red Valerian
in Plants
Hi All,
I've found a couple of white forms of red valerian. Does anyone know if they would have seeded from the red which I have or if it is just a lucky find come in from elsewhere?
If it has come from the red, could it then go on to seed red? I'm just curious, it's not of immense importance.
I'm pretty sure it is a white form of red and not common valerian...
Cheers

Pink valerian- that sounds nice
Just a lucky find then I suppose- I don't know if it grows on the coast around here...
I wouldn't describe my valerian patch as spectacular sadly but I do like them and they are providing colour and I don't have much at the mo.
Plants like that never grow where you want them to- I tried planting up a piece of bindweed and it immediately died.
Thanks for the reply
They all grow round here like weeds!
My weeds are more of the sow thistle and bitter cress variety
I wonder if anyone purposely grows them?
Verdun, you almost make me sorry to live in the Coalfields
Sounds beautiful...
I think I'll let them seed another year and see what happens- at least nothing seems to eat them
