My lawn is covered in lime green grassy patches which have grass flowers sprouting from them. I have checked on google and the problem looks as if it is Poa or Meadow grass. I can't see any chemical treatments, just pull it out by hand.
I'm afraid I don't understand your problem - my lawn has grass in it too - it's something I try to encourage amongst the moss - however, if you're intending to play Crown Green Bowls and you really must eradicate any grasses other than bentgrass and fescues then I suggest you look at the advice on this site http://www.rolawndirect.co.uk/aftercare-annual_meadow_grass.html

Any others suggestions?
Thanks
