    Gloire de Marengo and Sulphur Heart are two variegated ivies which will lighten a dark area without being too rampant.

    Hydrangeas welcome some shade chicken chaser. There are lots of perennials and shrubs which will grow well in containers and raised beds in shade, so if you want to have a variety there are lots of choices. Hardy geraniums will tolerate trickier sites and give you a long flowering season image

    It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

    Can you post some more recent pictures please to show it has grown in that container? I've bought one this year but worried it would get out of control - would it still do being in a container ?

    If you are growing in a container it will not get out of control unless your container is HUGE!

    I see! I was under impression and been told that they can't be grown in containers?!
