I've just received my white foxgloves from The Botanic Nursery - Pam's Favourite and Snow Thimble for the shady borders next to the boundary fence. I'd ordered them before Chelsea though. Great service too.

The Cayeux Irises would be my downfall - but they're hideously expensive so probably just as well! image

It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...

Anchusa royalist though is not a new plant but a beautiful one.

Currently I don't grow it because its not reliably perennial for me. Two years at most .....will have to propagate it regularly to keep it.

Ahh, but its new to ME Verdun, and in my egotistical world, thats all that mattersimage

Mounds of box to break up the corners where the lawn meets the pathway..  White Foxgloves on mass for the north side of the grass path around the barn against the dry stone walls.

Anchusa was lovely as well as Cornus Florida Daybreak and the bearded Iris Supreme Sultan.
