What would eat Lupins?
As in the title, something has eaten my lupins! They were growing back nicely and just filling out, and I came home tonight and they are just stalks! Something has completely stripped them! I always thought lupins were poisonous, so what would have eaten them? Or maybe I'm just destined to have no leaves at all in my garden this year!

What Verdun said.
Put plenty slug pellets around your garden and plenty of them
I'll just invested in a rather large kitchen knife to decapitate them. I was fiddling about in the pitch black last night I accidentally kicked and slopped my salty water jug of fizzing slugs... and I was wearing sandals
Just ignore my rantings about slugs my family does; although I did heard my 7 yr old giving advice about slugs to a couple in the garden centre
I'll probably become obsessive about slugs and lupins (perhaps that should be present tense!) but won't be brow beaten by slimy pests out of sheer bloody mindedness.
I go out every night seeking the dreaded Slug and Snail they are the vain of my life, i found 2 slugs that must have been The Grandmother and Grandfater of all slugs they were that big and fat through eating my plants, my Hoster gets shredded every year, i have tried slug pellets, bowls of beer and someone told me an old remedy, milk in a bowl but that did not work, i am sur they have come from another planet, i know you can but this copper strip but i am a pensioner and cannot afford to buy enough of it for my plants
Is there anyone that know how to sort this problem please.
Barbara.
Overnight would make me think large Snails or Caterpillars.
