I love Maltesers and I thought they were less fattening. When you've finished looking at the box Geoff and decided not to you can send it over here. But the postman can't get down the track because of the snow and ice.
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
I do cms and ms though not kms. I also do ins and sometimes ft, definitely miles. gs and kgs hold no terrors and I'm fine with ozs and lbs too. In fact thoroughly confused, as was a pupil of mine who said she knew her height: It's 4 feet 3 centimetres, Mrs D
I'm like you Flo. Can chop and change and use either. What gets me is shop workers (usually men) who think you can't work in metric really gets me . had that a lot when we were doing up house!
No snow overnight. But I need to do some snow clearance. It's best to keep on top of it.
There's a program on BBC2 tonight (5.30pm) about the Winter of 1963. I can recall going to school during that Winter. We didn't have single day off. I used to go on a bus, and the buses ran however bad the weather. Teachers (and bus drivers) these days have just got too soft.
Hope everyone is ok. The snow has caught up with us.
We have cancelled the trip to Stratford on Avon, decided it's not worth the risk, and re- scheduled for 11th Feb, hopefully we will be snow free by them.
Glyn, will get back to you with recipe for Pea and Ham soup when I have a bit more time.

Morning forkers,
No snow overnight. But I need to do some snow clearance. It's best to keep on top of it.

Morning lovelies!
Had a lie in today.
Will be trying out my new cake tin later!! And using all your tips. Hopefully all will be well.
We seem to be a bit thin on the ground this morning. I guess anyone who normally has to get up during the week, is still tucked up in bed.
Morning Peeps,
Hope everyone is ok. The snow has caught up with us.
