Have you removed all  the bush? Will he notice?

There are about 4 branches nearest to the wall but they are going over as well now-it has had it and it is a mystery why-I was thinking a tall perennial- fox tail lilies??

As a temporary measure will plant the 3 remaining impatiens and position a container

The slob won't notice-his roses are smothered in bind weed -he probably thinks that is pretty-idiotimage

My fox taily lily is slug fodder and has yet to flower after 2 years, but you may be luckier. I have a rock rose, the slugs do not like that.

No golf tomorrow -he has had to cancel again and rain is still forecast-so it will be safe to be outside.

I am happy to report that the worst of the tent caterpillar plague seems to be over in my garden--but yesterday when I went to collect the post, the top of the mailbox was covered with them. But that's down the hill and far away.

Geoff are you going to be spontaneous?

Inkadog did you leave them there?

Kate-don't be silly-you are entering the realms of fantasy there-this will only be a reconnoitering mission

    Now watching celeb Chaseimage

Tonight I will be mostly eating pork shank with new tatties and flicking through channels

Kate---no, I mailed them to you!

Inkadog fortunately my postman is very erratic so they will probably not make it here.

Geoff which celebs? I think the celebs got easier questions. Why are you reconnoitering plants?

    Ham salad here.

Hi folks, been another rotten day weather-wise here. Sun out a bit by 4pm so popped down to greenhouse to water & tie up the tom plants. Then tied in some sweetpeas, annual & perennial & put half a grapefruit out for the slimey brigade. It looks like not going to have many Morning Glory at all this year.

Ironing nearly done & OH doing meal- stirfry- & also a cake later on. At least the cleaning up will occupy me this evening!

Signs of bean germination, will watch those very carefully.

Tennis was ok last night, not the best, but I kept hold of the remote! J.
